The position

Job description

Reporting to the Factory Technical Department Manager, you will join the team at our Benfeld industrial site, dedicated to supporting and improving production testing resources. You will ensure the performance, development, and reliability of industrial testing processes and equipment. You will work at the heart of operations, liaising with production, maintenance, and the Corporate Testing Department.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support: monitor bench performance, analyze contingencies, address deviations, and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain and upgrade test software and drivers: TestStand, C#, PLCs, diagnostic tools.
  • Manage and improve production testing processes: optimize sequences, ensure measurement reliability, analyze data, and monitor KPIs.
  • Train and support maintenance technicians on testing methods: fault trees, best practices, methodology.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Test to develop software components, correct anomalies, or co-develop internal tools.
  • Contribute to the introduction of new lines or new testing equipment (NPI) and draft testing and automation specifications.
  • Participate in defining preventive maintenance and improving related methods.

Qualifications

·  Master's degree (Master's/Engineering school) in electronics, mechatronics, or industrial IT.

·  3 years of experience in industrial testing

·  Proficiency in TestStand (test sequencer). 

·  C# development (drivers, communication). 

·  Knowledge of automation/API (Siemens TIA Portal type).

·  Knowledge of databases, ideally MySQL.

 

Additional skills that could make you even more unique:

·  Knowledge of industrial maintenance methods. 

·  Experience in NPI or deployment of new testing methods.

·  Python skills.
