The position

Job description

Socomec offers specialized products and equipment for data centers, healthcare, energy, industry, infrastructures, and defense sectors. For our offices in Isola Vicentina (VI) we are looking for a senior Business Developer to drive the growth of our energy conversion product line with a focus for the NON-IT sector.

Main responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the NON IT sector (healthcare, industry, infrastructure).
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, clients, and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, marketing) to tailor solutions to client needs.

Qualifications & requirements:

  • Technical degree with marketing/international business training OR business degree with experience in electrical engineering/electrotechnics.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, pre-sales, or marketing
  • Proficiency in English and French (B2/C1 level)
  • Availability to travel within EMEA (30-40%)
