The position

Job description

Role summary

We need a Bid Manager to develop our public/private international tender pipeline. This person ensures all submissions are complete, compliant, and commercially competitive. The role also owns all tender-relevant partnerships (consortium partners, accredited bodies, technical collaborators) required for eligibility or co-bidding.

Core responsibilities

  • Oversee the full tender lifecycle: qualification, documentation, submission, clarifications

  • Drive early opportunity identification and pre-positioning with the bid team and BDMs

  • Ensure submissions are compliant, competitive, and aligned with commercial strategy

  • Improve deal structuring: pricing, assumptions, commercial terms, submission strategy

  • Identify and manage partners required for eligibility, consortia, or technical compliance

  • Build relationships with technical collaborators and framework partners for the bid

  • Provide monthly tender pipeline visibility to management

  • Present monthly performance reviews on tenders and partnerships

Preferred experience

Key competencies (must-have)

  • Highly organised, structured, and detail-driven

  • Strong understanding of tendering, procurement, and co-bidding

  • Commercially sharp: pricing, assumptions, deal structure

  • Excellent writing and documentation discipline

Experience expectations

  • 5–10 years in Bid Management

  • Experience in Offshore, Fisheries, Maritime, Energy, Environmental, or regulated industries

  • General knowledge of public and private procurement

  • Specific knowledge about environmental impact assessments, passive acoustic monitoring, remote electronic monitoring, SaaS products applied to maritime industries

  • Desire to continuously learn about new trends, competitors, and the market in general
