Job description

SII Netherlands is looking for his/her Business Sector manager/Country Manager (M/F).Job position based in Haarlem.Main Responsibilities :1. Business Development and Client Acquisition•    Lead the commercial strategy for the Netherlands sector: identify and target growth opportunities, particularly in mechanical engineering, IT, and innovative solutions for aeronautics and transportation.•    Develop a client portfolio: actively prospect new clients (major accounts, group clients) and expand existing client relationships.•    Achieve sales targets set in collaboration with management and technical teams.•    Represent SII Netherlands at industry events, trade shows, and strategic meetings.2. Team Leadership and Management•    Manage a team of 30 employees, relying on the Technical Manager for project-related aspects, the Business Manager for recruitment and business development, and financial and administrative services.•    Foster a positive dynamic: motivate teams, promote a culture of performance and innovation, and ensure a collaborative work environment.•    Organize regular meetings (progress updates, performance reviews, workshops) to align objectives, support teams, and share best practices.•    Support skills development: identify training needs and encourage upskilling among team members.3. Operational and Strategic Management•    Collaborate with the Technical Manager to ensure the technical excellence of proposed solutions, meet client needs, and guarantee successful project execution (quality, deadlines, budget).•    Monitor performance indicators (KPIs): track commercial activity, project profitability, consultant satisfaction, and client satisfaction.4. Relationship with Management and Stakeholders•    Regularly report to General Management on results, outlook, and identified risks.•    Work closely with the Regional Director, Group Shared Services (Business Development, Global Delivery, IT), and other SII Group subsidiaries to share best practices, improve process maturity, deploy tools, and pool resources.Required Profile•    Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in commercial and operational management in engineering, IT, or business services.•    Strong sales and negotiation skills: demonstrated experience in acquiring new clients and developing a portfolio.•    Leadership and team management: ability to unite, motivate, and develop a small team (30 people).•    Technical understanding: knowledge of mechanical engineering solutions, stress analysis, and IT processes (a plus).•    Proficiency in collaborative digital tools (Office 365, HubSpot, in-house tools).•    Fluent English required; Dutch is a plus.•    Results-driven: determination to achieve set goals.•    Initiative and dynamism: ability to propose innovative ideas and implement them.•    Excellent communication: strong interpersonal skills, ability to persuade, and lead meetings.•    Resilience and adaptability: ability to handle unexpected challenges and adapt to a changing environment.What We Offer•    A strategic and operational role within an innovative and growing company.•    Significant autonomy in managing your sector and team.•    Development opportunities within an international group.•    An attractive package (fixed salary + bonus, social benefits).Why Join SII Netherlands?Joining SII Netherlands means becoming part of an agile and ambitious team, where innovation and performance are at the heart of our culture.
