TRANSPORT & CUSTOMS MANAGER

(MANAGER TRANSPORT ET DOUANES)

CDI H/F

 

 

 

ORGANIZATION :

Manager : Commercial Logistic Director EMEA.

Management : Yes, 1 person

Job Location : Paris 75008 or Escrennes (Loiret, 45)

 

RESPONSABILITES

Drive proactively, coordinate, control and optimize transportation activities such as customs process. Responsible to select forwarders / carrier partners to support Shiseido business and optimize continuously the offer around 3 main axis: finance, service to customer, sustainability.

 

  • Structure & supervise Shiseido’s transport operations, for all modes of transport: air, sea and road.
  • Lead relationships with carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Follow and challenge carriers’ claims, litigations, quality of the communication and work with customer services and insurers to resolve the root causes.
  • Lead transportation and customs clearance budget to provide regular performance and cost reports.
  • Follow market trends and customs regulations to ensure Shiseido complies with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate for import customs clearance activities and ensure that:
    • All customs procedures are followed
    • The necessary documents are prepared accurately
    • The required information (HS code) are compliant.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation costs and improve EMEA supply efficiency.
  • Join forces with purchasing, supply, logistics and customer service teams to ensure transport meets business requirements and drive tenders.
  • Train teams on regulations, risks and customs clearance procedures.
  • Drive town hall meetings with transport suppliers to embed Shiseido strategy
  • Manage a team

 

 

Preferred experience

PROFIL

Diploma: Logistic, freight, international trade

5/7 years international background

Proactive, communicative, rigorous

Ability to work in a quick changing environment  & multiple priorities simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills, & ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Mastery of IT tools for transport / delivery tracking.

Demonstrated project management and problems solving skills.

Knowledge of intl trade incoterms &  regulations.

Knowledge of a foreign language is an asset.
