The position

Job description

Your missions: 

Directly attached to CFO and in a context of strong growth, you will have the following missions: 

Investor relationship development:

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow existing investor relationships.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the company at investor and industry conferences.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with a broad variety of stakeholder groups including government relations, trader associations, working groups.
  • Respond to investor enquiries, build relationships with the investment community, collect investor feedback, and gather insight on perceptions of company, to improve the image/brand of the Group and develop awareness for our company and our products in the retail market.

Company image and branding:

  • Work in partnership with the Head of Communication to develop and enhance SES-imagotag’s external messaging and collateral, and to create stakeholder-centric communication tools/materials, smartly using digital channels.
  • Advise internal contributors (CEO, CFO, Legal Department, HR Department, Communications Department, etc.) on communications approaches and messages for investors.
  • Collaborate with all ExCom members to present persuasive, consistent corporate messaging and tailored communications to investors and employees.

Market analysis:

  • Track competitor performance and provide comparisons and analyses to our financial performance.
  • Perform research and provide business, industry, competitive, and market insights to key internal, and often external, stakeholders.
  • Train the company, and in particular the Finance function, in the challenges facing a listed company.
  • Finding new ways and opportunities to improve our perception amongst relevant external stakeholders. 
  • Identify agencies/vendors/technologies/tools that can benefit the execution of the Corporate Affairs Strategy

M&A advisory:

  • Work in partnership with CEO and CFO to evaluate and execute M&A and other investment opportunities, including analyzing valuation and returns.
  • Coordinate financial oversight of transaction due diligence.
  • Work with Corp Development and Tax to help with deal structuring and other transaction related matters.

Preferred experience

  • 10+ years of relevant experience as a sell-side financial analyst (mid or small-cap broker) or in investor relations, management consulting, investment banking or strategic finance
  • A demonstrable track record in handling sensitive information in fast growing environments/companies and investor/prospect matters.
  • Experience at a high-growth Fintech, or Financial Services organization would be a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge about financial markets regulations and financial modeling skills, ability to build complex, scalable, and easy to digest financial models.
  • Excellent communicator with outstanding verbal, writing, and presentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clearly demonstrable strength in connecting with capital markets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and the ability to simply complex concepts to facilitate broader organizational understanding.
