This role is a 3-month Summer Internship for 2024. As a Business Development Intern on our Inside Sales Team, you will be pivotal in leveraging and organizing customer data to enhance our sales strategies. This role is ideal for a college student passionate about marketing and sales, and looking to immerse themselves in a tech-driven, innovative environment.

As a Business Development Intern, you will:

  • Lead Management: Import and organize new contacts and accounts from tradeshows into Salesforce, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
  • Research and Data Enhancement: Utilize LinkedIn to gather relevant information for personalized outreach and outbound sales efforts.
  • Campaign Analysis: Monitor and evaluate performance metrics of email sequences in Outreach, including open rates, click-through rates, and response rates. Identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Content Optimization: Rework existing communication sequences to enable variant testing, aiming to optimize engagement and effectiveness.
  • Salesforce Administration: Perform administrative tasks within Salesforce to support sales operations.
  • Call Analysis: Use Gong to listen to sales calls, extract valuable insights, and select key recordings for team review to enhance sales techniques.
  • Appointment Coordination: Manage rescheduling efforts for missed meetings across Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and Account Executives (AEs).
  • What will contribute to your success:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and reasoning skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in data entry with CRM software, preferably Salesforce, and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
