We’re looking for an experienced, German-speaking General Accountant to take ownership of the financial and administrative operations for our entities in the DACH region. In this role, you will report directly to our Head of Accounting & Tax, based in France.
Your Impact at Brevo:
Be responsible for the Finance topics of 1 German entity & 2 Austrian entities: day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts reviews, expenses claims managementWork on the tax compliance with local CPAsWork on payroll management with local GM and local CPAsLiaise with the AP team to review AP topicsWork on Monthly Financial reportingImprove of the internal processesCoordinate with the debt collection partnerSupport to Sales Admin team on German customers topicsParticipate on Finance projects (local and global)Who you are:
Degree in Accounting, FinanceAt least 3+ years experience as an AccountantThorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures (closing process) & taxesExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processHands-on experience with accounting software packages, like NetsuiteAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tablesAccuracy and attention to detailAutonomy, Proactive, Ability to work in a scalable environmentExcellent German proficiency (C1/C2), with good very good English proficiency (at least B2)French speaking skills are a plusIf you don’t meet all the requirements above but believe this opportunity matches your expectations and experience, we still encourage you to apply!
