We’re looking for an experienced, German-speaking Finance & Accounting Officer to take ownership of the financial and administrative operations for our entities in the DACH region. In this role, you will report directly to our Head of Accounting & Tax, based in France.

As Finance Officer at Brevo, you will:

  • Be responsible for Accounting of 1 German entity & 2 Austrian entities: day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts reviews, expenses claims management
  • Work on the tax compliance with local CPAs
  • Work on payroll management with local GM and local CPAs
  • Be in charge of AP payment process for each entities
  • Work on Monthly Financial reporting
  • Improve of the internal processes
  • Coordinate with the debt collection partner 
  • Support to Sales Admin team on German customers topics
  • Participate on projects (local or global level)
  • What will contribute to your success:

  • Masters degree in Accounting, Finance
  • At least 3+ years experience as an Accountant
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures (closing process)
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Netsuite
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Autonomy, Proactive, Ability to work in a scalable environment
  • Very Good German proficiency (C1/C2), with good English proficiency (at least B1/B2)
  • French speaking skills are a plus
