We’re looking for an experienced, German-speaking Finance & Accounting Officer to take ownership of the financial and administrative operations for our entities in the DACH region. In this role, you will report directly to our Head of Accounting & Tax, based in France.
As Finance Officer at Brevo, you will:
Be responsible for Accounting of 1 German entity & 2 Austrian entities: day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts reviews, expenses claims managementWork on the tax compliance with local CPAsWork on payroll management with local GM and local CPAsBe in charge of AP payment process for each entitiesWork on Monthly Financial reportingImprove of the internal processesCoordinate with the debt collection partner Support to Sales Admin team on German customers topicsParticipate on projects (local or global level)What will contribute to your success:
Masters degree in Accounting, FinanceAt least 3+ years experience as an AccountantThorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures (closing process)Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processHands-on experience with accounting software packages, like NetsuiteAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tablesAccuracy and attention to detailAutonomy, Proactive, Ability to work in a scalable environmentVery Good German proficiency (C1/C2), with good English proficiency (at least B1/B2)French speaking skills are a plusWhat we offer:
