As Sami’s first International Business Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our international expansion following our acquisition by SGS in November 2025.
Your mission? To spearhead Sami’s growth in key European markets, with a primary focus on the UK, alongside Benelux and Italy.
This is a unique opportunity to shape Sami’s global presence.
You will work closely under direct management of Tanguy Robert (Co-Founder) and closely with Jeanne (Head of Sales), Alex (Channel Sales Manager), and the broader sales team to accelerate adoption of our carbon management platform among ESG managers.
You’ll also collaborate with Manon (Head of Marketing) on international marketing initiatives, including events, partnerships, and content creation.
Location: London (preferred) or Paris.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Proactively identify and engage potential clients in the UK to build a robust sales pipeline.
Lead Qualification: Pre-qualify incoming leads from the UK, Italy, and Benelux, either handing them off to SGS teams or co-selling directly.
Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the end-to-end sales process - from discovery calls and product demos to closing deals - primarily remotely, with occasional in-person meetings in the UK.
Collaborative Selling: Partner with SGS’s local teams to co-sell Sami’s platform, ensuring seamless alignment between Sami and SGS.
Product feedback: Act as the voice of UK and international clients, providing feedback to our Tech team to tailor the platform to regional needs.
Sales & Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to refine sales materials, develop content, and represent Sami at UK events and partnership discussions.
Process Optimization: Continuously improve sales processes and performance tracking to drive efficiency and results.

Experience: Minimum 3-4 years. Ideally, experience in sustainability services (software or consulting)
Expertise: A solid understanding of climate change mitigation is a big plus.
Passion: Genuine commitment to environmental issues and sustainability.
Sales Mindset: A results-driven approach, you love to close deals and build lasting relationships with sustainability professionals.
Collaboration: A team player comfortable with co-selling, which will represent most of the deals
Language: Native English speaker; proficiency in French is a strong plus.
