Safran Helicopter Engines is looking for new talents to take on tomorrow's challenges. Whether you are passionate about technology, innovation, the environment, or project management, join us to develop your skills and help us shape the future of aeronautics.
Within the Technical Department, in Bordes, we offer an internship in Thermo-hydraulic Fuel System Architecture for Turbine Engine
You will be supported by a mentor throughout your internship and will actively participate in projects with high added value for Safran and its clients.
The internship consists of studying and evaluating thermo-hydraulic management architectures for the turboshaft fuel system. There are plans to evaluate the introduction of new components on the system.
Your missions will be to participate :
• Continue the development of a pre-existing thermo-hydraulic fuel system model. The component models will either be pre-existing, or to be created by analysing existing parts, or developed prospectively in pre-project mode for non-existing components.
• Correlate the basic circuit with thermo-hydraulic tests already carried out.
• Evaluate the effect of new components on the thermal-hydraulic management of the circuit.
• Determine the paths offered by these new components
• Formulate the requirements for these new components
The candidate will rely on previously made models and on the help of a multidisciplinary team.
The models shall be made with the multi-physics simulation software AMESim.
You are currently in the final year of a Master's or Engineering School program, Bac+ 5 specializing in mechanical engineering, energy systems, embedded systems, or a related field.
Experience with AMESim or an equivalent simulation software is a strong advantage.
Knowledge of thermo-hydraulics, physical modeling, or energy system simulation is highly valued.
You demonstrate scientific curiosity, analytical rigor, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Build your future with Safran Helicopter Engines!
