The position

Job description

Represent the aftermarket function both internally and externally on multiple programmes.
We influence elements of the product design to facilitate the provision and delivery of the aftermarket strategy tailoring the design and support solution to meet the needs of the customer, the product and the market.
Provide external customer technical communications and champion the customer internally.
Offer complete support and service solutions to our customers in the aftermarket, and ensure continued profitability from the parts and services provided
Produce internal reporting including aftermarket reviews to the senior leadership.

• Deliver ILS work-packages (Maintainability, Supportability and Service Readiness) working within a multi-disciplined team as per PROMPT process under the supervision of the program
• Adherence to program NRC/RC for aftermarket business plans
• Technically represent Safran Electrical & Power in front of customers and suppliers.
• Support program risk management system

• Champion the needs for support elements and specify the means of support.
• Influence the design to consider Aftermarket Health Monitoring Needs.
• Calculate Direct Maintenance Cost (DMC) and Monitor through development Phase.
• Perform Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Economical LORA.
• Develop the maintenance plan
• Define the logistics tree
• Develop and optimize spare lists
• Manage LSA studies and the constitution of the Logistics Support Analysis Base;
• Manage the definition and implementation of logistics services (technical documentation, training, supply of spare parts and tools, technical assistance) in order to guarantee their technical consistency and suitability for use by customers.
• Validate technical documentation
• Manage and ensure MRO Service Readiness in place prior to EIS.
• Define and approve in-service products' configurations and their different versions during EIS phase

• Ensure ILS Governance and KPIs are in place, monitored and reported


• Any desirables/essential qualifications:
• (UK) Degree or HNC/HND preferably in Aeronautical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• (FR) Master 2 degree or Engineering school preferably in Aeronautical or a similar discipline
• English professional (FR) and French conversational
• Relevant experience or technical skills:
• ILS, Maintenance, Fleet Management, Support Engineering, Safety Engineer, RAMS activities (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Supportability/Safety), Industrialisation Engineer, System Engineer or Through life support Engineer
• Project management and planning skillset
• Technical (aerospace) / products knowledge
• Maintenance Technical documentation creation know how
• Personal skills necessary to be successful in the role:

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Travel : As required approx 10% of time
