Manufacturing Operator - Second Shift

Join our team as a Manufacturing Operator on the second shift. In this role, you will work within the Manufacturing Department in various functional areas, including Assembly, Quality Control, Soldering, Wiring, Surface Mount Technology, and Repair & Overhaul. You will be a member of the Bargaining Unit and will be required to have a Grade 12 education or equivalent, experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, and good communication skills.

The position

Job description

The Manufacturing Operator will work within the Manufacturing Department in the following functional areas as assigned by the Supervisor: Assembly, Quality Control, Soldering, Wiring, Surface Mount Technology, Repair & Overhaul. This position will be a member of the Bargaining Unit.


Grade 12 or equivalent
Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment and familiarity with IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 standards considered an asset
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings, Parts Lists and other related documentation
Accuracy and attention to detail
Previous experience with the operation of precision automated equipment preferred
Computer skills in MS Office Suite and ERP software
Frequent lifting and carrying – occasionally up to 50 lbs


Preferred experience

Grade 12 or equivalent
