Job description

At Roundtable, launched early 2022 within the eFounders/Hexa startup studio, we’re building the infrastructure and social platform to democratise investment in private markets.

Thanks to a strong product-market-fit and a formidable growth of our customer base in 2025, we have established ourselves as a leading player in Europe. We opened Germany in 2024, Spain in 2025, and now officially launching Belgium in 2026.

In order to support our growth in Belgium and the Benelux markets, we are hiring for a Country Lead – Venture Capital to join our sales team and accelerate our leadership in Europe.

The role is based in Brussels.

About the team

We are a team of 45+ at Roundtable today and counting. Our sales team is composed of 9 people operating across multiple geographies (France, Germany, Spain) and asset classes (Venture, Private Equity, Real Estate).

You will join the French & New Markets team, working alongside Alexis, Antoine and Bianka, who have successfully launched and scaled Roundtable across several European markets.

As you open the Belgian market, you will leverage the experience and playbooks developed in France and Germany, while collaborating closely with our Growth, Marketing, Legal and Operations teams and our experienced European sales team to structure Roundtable’s presence locally.

About the role

We are hiring a Country Lead – Venture Capital to lead Roundtable’s expansion in the Belgian market.

As we officially launch Belgium in 2026, this role will be instrumental in building Roundtable’s presence from the ground up and structuring our local ecosystem.

You will work at the intersection of venture partnerships, market development and revenue generation, contributing directly to establishing Roundtable as a reference infrastructure for private market transactions in Belgium.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Own the go-to-market strategy for Belgium, building on the learnings from our successful expansion in France and Germany.

  • Proactively build the Belgian pipeline, sourcing and engaging venture capital firms, angel syndicates, founders and investment professionals.

  • Structure and develop the local ecosystem, building partnerships with law firms, incubators, startup communities and key market actors.

  • Represent Roundtable in the Belgian venture ecosystem, attending and speaking at key events.

  • Own and execute the full investment sales cycle, from outbound sourcing to structuring transactions and closing high-stakes deals on the platform.

You will play a key role in shaping how Roundtable establishes itself in Belgium while contributing to the broader European expansion of the company.

Preferred experience

  • Experience: You have 6+ years in high-performance environments (venture capital, fintech, private markets or high-growth startups) with a proven ability to close complex B2B or investment transactions.

  • Language: You are fluent in French and English. Dutch/Flemish is a strong plus to engage effectively across the Belgian venture ecosystem.

  • Market builder: You are comfortable opening new markets, building pipeline from scratch and developing strong outbound momentum.

  • Ecosystem credibility & local understanding: : You are comfortable engaging VC partners, founders, angel investors and legal advisors, and have a strong understanding of the Belgian startup and investment ecosystem.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: You thrive in fast-paced environments, take ownership beyond your scope and actively contribute to building new markets.

  • Rigor & discretion: You combine strong client commitment with exceptional attention to detail when handling confidential, high-stakes investment processes.
