The primary mission is to deliver the defined roadmap with high quality and efficiency. This role involves the following responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to gain a deep understanding of needs, priorities, and project context.

• Work in conjunction with the Product Manager and Product Owner to establish project milestones and detailed specifications.

• Orchestrate the agile development process, including managing epics and sprints.

• Foster the professional development and growth of R&D team members.

• Monitor the velocity and efficiency of R&D team members, making management decisions to address any issues that arise.

• Ensure that the Medical Device quality process is comprehended and properly executed throughout the project development.

• Assist R&D team members in resolving issues related to coding, architecture, and testing.

• Maintain a close working relationship with the QA team to ensure control over product quality deliveries.

• Select and appraise team members to ensure that we have the right talent for successful project deliveries within a strong product culture.

• Lead by example and cultivate a culture of teamwork and achievement.

Profile

• An engineering degree, with a preference for a generalist or generalist with a computer science specialty.

• Previous experience as an R&D manager of a small to medium-sized team (ranging from 5 to 15 members).

Skills

• Demonstrated strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency in the entire product development cycle within an agile process, including familiarity with associated tools such as JIRA and CI/CD.

• A solid background in computer science, especially in cloud-based back-end development.

• Knowledge of Software as a Service (SAAS) environments.

• Knowledge of medical regulations is a valuable asset, as is experience in a regulated industry (e.g., banking).

• Fluent in both French and English.
