Job description
QuantCube Technology’s Consumption product consists in providing real-time indicators of private consumption to different economic actors, whether it be private investors like hedge funds or banks or public institutions. These indexes are even more important as economic turmoil brings forward uncertainty at the macro level. The Macro Team is therefore looking for an intern with a strong interest in economics and Data Science (Python, Econometrics, Machine Learning) to work on Japan.
Missions:
The assignments you will be working on include:
- Understanding the Japanese economy by performing variance analysis
- Taking part in the alternative data collection
- Using and improving QuantCube consumption pipelines with state-of-the-art algorithms
- Taking part in the production adaptation of the codes

Preferred experience
- Good level in python
- Strong Interest in Economics
- Fluent in English, proficient in Japanese
- Good level in mathematics
- Mastery of time series and econometric models
