THE ROLE

Join the Digital Transformation Group and build intelligent, intuitive applications that surface critical data insights across the company. As a key member of the Analytics Applications team, you'll be instrumental in designing and deploying our backend services on AWS, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and reliable. This role is a unique opportunity to own and enhance our core infrastructure, while collaborating with a dynamic team of developers and architects to drive business innovation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, deploy, and operate backend services and infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Manage day-2 operations, including monitoring, alerting, cost optimization, performance tuning, and incident response, to maintain the health and efficiency of our systems.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and automated delivery of software and infrastructure changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and workflows, enhancing the digital experience for our internal customers and partners.
• Apply a security-first mindset, implementing best practices for cloud security and compliance across all layers of our infrastructure.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure, including designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure systems.
• Proficiency in Python for backend development and automation, with a strong understanding of how to build and operate reliable services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and concepts, and a proven ability to build and maintain automated delivery pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, along with a solid understanding of data flows and management.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague, Czechia office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
