THE ROLE 

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Digital Transformation Group (DTG) in Prague. In this role, you will be a key contributor in the design, development, and expansion of data assets that drive business intelligence, advanced analytics, and reporting. You will work closely with product managers and data scientists, building the data infrastructure that empowers our internal teams to innovate and grow. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and build data pipelines and ETL processes to support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and reporting, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and accessible for stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain the enterprise data warehouse and corresponding data marts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and address their data requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices for efficient data querying, data modeling, and pipeline development, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust data governance practices and a deep understanding of the data management lifecycle.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Strong proficiency with SQL, data modeling, and at least one programming language like Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and MongoDB.
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as DBT, Airflow, and stream-processing systems like Kafka or AWS SNS/SQS.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague, Czech Republic office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
