Need to ride with a friend, a child, groceries ? Pony wants to fight current micro-mobility selfish products and bring back social interactions. For this, Pony intends to offer purposefully engineered vehicles, and is building in-house teams. Pony stands for reliability and operational excellence, and those mottos drive the engineering culture in the team. Within the vehicles team your tasks will be to develop electronics systems over several units (proprietary or purchased) from scratch, as well as develop existing components further.

What you’ll do:
Design embedded system over several HW modules
Create wiring harness specifications for manufacturers
PCB Design for pony proprietary HW modules
Collaborate with mechanical engineers for vehicle integration
Create production requirements for PCB manufacturer
Firmware development (platform depending on controller choice that you did)
Oversee prototyping and production of HW electronics (including QA)
Make, Test, Iterate
Job position available in Paris, Bordeaux, Angers, possible partially in remote (except for the prototyping and testing sessions ;) )

Preferred skills:
Engineering diploma (Major in Embedded systems or comparable)
Several years of experience managing CAN-based embedded systems
PCB design experience
Firmware development experience (using CAN-ish architecture)
electronics geek
Flexible, delivery-oriented, Ego-free
Hands-on
Willingness to change the statu-quo of light electric mobility technology
English speaking

Cherry(-ies) on the cake:
Knowledge of CANOpen, OTA, LPWAN (LorA, Sigfox)
Knowledge of Embedded Linux, HMI development
Knowledge of Security process and requirements
Start-up experience
Network of peers and manufacturing suppliers
