Planon North America is looking for key account managers to serve as client success executives to nurture and maintain excellent relationships with our clients in the U.S. and Canada. As a Key Account Manager, you will oversee all activity and communications with clients, proactively respond to client needs, advise and guide clients on their smart workplace technology journey, and serve as a resource for additional solutions that serve our clients’ best interests. You will be the first line of accountability for client satisfaction and growth.

The successful candidate for this position is a dynamic, independent thinker, who is able to understand our client’s business needs, anticipate client requirements, and provide swift resolution to any client issues or demands. As the face of Planon to our customers, your role is critical to our ongoing growth and success!  

You will successfully fulfill this role by:

  • Owning and maintaining positive executive level and stakeholder relationships with clients while ensuring excellent client satisfaction;
  • Ensure a long-term business relationship with your assigned accounts, including handling product add-ons and enhancements, managing contract renewals, facilitating partner solutions, customizations, additional services, etc.
  • Conducting regular business reviews with clients to assure a high level of satisfaction with Planon products and services;
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of Planon’s software, services, partner products and services, and related industry offerings sufficiently to be an effective advisor to the customer;
  • Defining and implementing Strategic Account Plans for assigned accounts, using approved models, to identify and position additional client activity and business opportunities;
  • Uncovering opportunity needs, developing solution/value propositions, and identifying upsell opportunities.

Our ideal candidate meets the following criteria:

  • A proven track record in SaaS Account Management within the facilities management industry (e.g. CAFM, IWMS, BMS, FMIS).
  • You are customer-centric and detail-oriented.
  • You are entrepreneurial and consultative.
  • You have experience working with large enterprise clients.
  • You have experience working with cross functional teams with delivery on solutions.
  • Based in North America (East-coast based).
