PhotoRoom develops cutting-edge technology that empowers entrepreneurs, small businesses, and merchants to easily create images that sell - leveraging deep learning. Our ambition: power the internet’s commerce images.

Our first consumer product, the PhotoRoom app, is already a leader in mobile photo editing: we serve 10M+ users across more than 180 countries monthly, and our app was awarded the Best App of 2021 by Android and named Editor’s Choice by Apple. We recently launched our second product, the API, allowing us to deploy our tech at scale through a b-to-b motion.

We are at an exciting stage of our journey, having successfully raised our Series A and looking to scale to $100M ARR in the next couple of years.

🤓 We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to help us go to the next level!

As our Finance leader, you have a truly pivotal role and a clear impact on the development of PhotoRoom. You will deliver commercial and strategic insights to drive growth and maintain strong unit economics at scale.

💰 120-150k€* + Stock-Options/BSPCE

🇪🇺 We are flexible: you can work from anywhere in Europe. We do a monthly meetup in Paris (fully reimbursed), but you are, of course, welcome in the office anytime.

✈️ We offer substantial support for relocation (10k€ signing bonus), including finding an apartment in Paris and supporting you with the visa process.

🇬🇧 PhotoRoom is an international team, and we work in English. We offer language lessons for those who need them (English & French).

✨ About the role ✨

  • Own all things finance and accounting at PhotoRoom - including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • As our first finance leader, you will need to put in place finance processes and systems to support ambitious growth plan on both b-to-c and b-to-b products
  • Optimize debt financing and cash management
  • Lead corporate finance for future fundraising rounds and potential acquisitions
  • In addition to running daily finance, your role will be pivotal in the organization and will require you to partner with:
  • - the growth team to model customer acquisition by persona and channels

    - the b-to-b sales team to monitor performance and SaaS KPIs

  • Nice to have: oversea our legal projects contracts, IP and corporate matters

  • You have 8+ years of experience in a finance role, ideally with several years in startups and software businesses
  • You have developed a “value-add” finance organisation and designed scalable operations
  • You managed the business planning cycle and owned budgets and forecasting exercises
  • You have developed commercial analysis and insights to drive performance across the company
  • You have helped co-founders raise growth rounds and potentially made some small company acquisitions.
  • You have a deep understanding of subscription-based models, SaaS KPIs, and growth levers
