The Machine Learning Engineer will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of AI models applied to bacteriophage–host prediction and related biological datasets. This role is central to scaling our AI capabilities and ensuring efficient model deployment within production environments.

🧩 Main Responsibilities

• Train, and deploy deep learning models to predict bacteriophage–host interactions.

• Manage inference endpoints for scalable AI applications.

• Collaborate with data scientists and bioinformaticians to improve model architectures and integrate diverse datasets.

• Contribute to automation and continuous integration of ML pipelines.

• Ensure code quality, reproducibility, and maintainability following best engineering practices.

• Participate in cross-functional research projects in collaboration with the Data and Bioinformatics teams.
