As we scale up, we are looking for a junior Data Engineer to help structure and secure our growing data ecosystem.

🧩 Your mission

You will join a multidisciplinary and collaborative Data team. Your goal: make data accessible, usable, and trusted across the company.

In this role, you will:

• Set up, maintain, and scale our internal databases

• Maintain and evolve our Benchling data model with scientific teams

• Manage AWS ↔ Benchling synchronization and ensure data integrity

• Oversee the lifecycle of scientific data: from acquisition to archiving

• Contribute to data governance best practices

• Communicate clearly with researchers, biologists, and other non-tech teams

• You have 1–2 years of experience (or internship) in data engineering, DevOps or software development

• You’re organized, curious, and a good listener

• You enjoy making things work and explaining how they work

• You have working knowledge of Python, AWS (preferred, similar cloud infra are okay too), SQL, and versioning tools (Git + GitHub/GitLab)

• You’re interested in biology, health, or agritech — no need to be an expert, but it helps
