The SEA Data Ambassador supports Pernod Ricard’s Group Transformation agenda by accelerating data readiness and local data governance adoption across four Southeast Asian markets: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Positioned within the APAC Management Entity, the role acts as a bridge between global data standards and local execution, ensuring consistent data quality, clear ownership, and sustainable governance practices across Product, Supplier, Customer, and Chart of Accounts domains.
By onboarding and coaching local data stewards, orchestrating data quality improvements, and fostering data literacy, the Data Ambassador enables reliable planning and execution while embedding robust, scalable ways of working across the region.
Launch and coordinate local data readiness activities across the four SEA markets for Product, Supplier, Customer, and CoA domains
Drive data quality checks, issue tracking, and remediation backlogs with clear owners, SLAs, and timelines
Verify corrections in local ERPs and ensure alignment with MDM and target data views
Facilitate adoption of global data standards, LEAP/MDM models, and governance principles across local affiliates
Clarify data definitions, ownership, and stewardship roles
Promote simple, pragmatic governance rituals embedded into daily operations
Analyze recurring data issues and profiling insights to identify root causes
Advocate process improvements that reduce rework while remaining compliant with global standards
Track acceptance criteria and escalate risks or blockers with documented evidence
Promote consistent use of data quality platforms, data catalogs, glossaries, and supporting templates
Support affiliates in producing auditable rollout evidence (snapshots, mappings, sign-offs)
Coordinate lightweight lineage and interface documentation to support BI and reporting traceability
Onboard and coach local data stewards and subject matter experts
Run clinics, training sessions, and share “how-to” playbooks
Animate a four-country Community of Practice, sharing quick wins, reusable assets, and KPIs
Reinforce business value creation (planning accuracy, execution reliability) to sustain engagement
Translate global migration requirements into concrete local actions
Monitor readiness progress, risks, and dependencies across the four markets
Coordinate with APAC ME Data Governance Lead, Global Data Governance teams, and Operations Master Data specialists
Prepare affiliates for migration milestones with auditable handover packs
Data governance activation and stewardship coaching

Strong process discipline, rigor, and attention to detail

Lightweight governance frameworks (RACI, cadences, workflows)
