Job description

Would you like to join a dynamic company, a leader in premium wines and spirits, and work in friendly teams? Join Pernod Ricard as a Sustainability Change & Engagement Apprentice for 1 year from September 2026.

As the Sustainability Change & Engagement Apprentice, your role will be to support the Global Sustainable Business (CSR) team in deploying its internal and external engagement strategy around Pernod Ricard's Sustainability & Responsibility roadmap, “Good Times from a Good Place”.

Your key mission

Mission 1: Centralise and cascade global S&R content, guidelines and resources

  • Maintain key assets library, ensuring all relevant documents, visual assets (photos/film) and guidelines are up to date, saved and cascaded via relevant channels (Teams, SharePoint)

  • Guide colleagues in use of the “Good Times from a Good Place” visual identity across internal and external materials.

  • Help experts to develop presentation materials (speaking notes, PowerPoint slides)

  • Produce summary notes on key forums and publications (URD, ESG ratings, conferences, internal meetings and presentations etc.)

  • Assist in briefing and collaborating with external agencies to create content and assets

Mission 2: Inform, raise awareness and engage our employees and the CSR network

  • Develop written and/or visual content (articles, photos, videos, infographics) on new initiatives launched across the Group for our CSR intranet and produce a quarterly newsletter

  • Help coordinate with our global network of CSR colleagues, keeping contacts up to date, identifying and sharing best practice, and providing them with the tools and information they need to carry out their duties

  • Support in driving the CSR engagement strategy globally and for Paris-based employees, helping to organize and communicate events and developing resources to ensure efforts are replicated by local teams

  • Keep a watch on CSR news and compile a monthly S&R press review ).

  • Lead the onboarding process of new employees within the CSR network

  • Support the development and enhancement of content for interactive online learning modules, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and learner engagement

Mission 3: Increase the visibility of our CSR actions among our external stakeholders

  • Collaborate closely with the HQ Communications team, ensuring they are briefed on upcoming news and are provided with key messages, visual assets, guidelines etc.

  • Ensure all CSR-related content on external communication channels (website, social networks etc.) is up to date with latest information, data and testimonials

  • Identify opportunities for external speaking engagements or awards and contribute to the preparation of presentation materials and social network posts

  • Education: Master's student (4 or 5 years' higher education) in human resources, political science and/or communications, IEP, business school, engineering or university

  • Strong interest in sustainable development issues

  • Initial experience in communications, community management and/or CSR in a professional or student environment (writing articles/newsletters/blogs, producing videos/animations, organising a public campaign or event, leading a network, etc.)

  • Excellent level of spoken and written communication (English is a must, French is highly appreciated) with strong attention to detail

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Teams

  • Good knowledge of community/network engagement

  • Knowledge of design tools (Photoshop, InDesign, Canva) and experience of photography/filming and editing would be a plus

  • Knowledge of ESG issues and trends

  • Ability to analyse and translate technical information into engaging materials that are easy to understand for a range of audiences

  • Personal skills: strong autonomy and self-initiative, rigour and precision, creativity, team spirit, dynamic engagement, good interpersonal skills, ability to listen, curiosity and open-mindedness, adaptability
