The position

Job description

Position purpose:

The treasury department, reporting to the Group Treasury Director, has the responsibility to provide the funding and the liquidity for the group, and to ensure that each affiliate has the adequate financial means.

Treasury is significantly involved in defining and executing the financial policy of the Group in collaboration with other departments. The treasury department acts as the internal bank of the Group. Treasury is also in charge to manage interest rate risk, foreign exchange, and equity risks.

The main responsibilities are:

The Senior Front Office Analyst will be in charge of monitoring and implementing the financial policy of the group and monitoring the foreign exchange, interest rate, equity and commodities risks. The Front Office Analyst will issue recommendations in line with affiliates’ needs and Group requirements, as well as implementing strategies. He will provide financial markets expertise internal counterparts when needed.

More specifically:

  • Corporate Finance
  • Credit Rating advisory and monitoring (both qualitative and quantitative)
  • Model and monitor the financial structure and issue recommendation on financial policy
  • Elaborate complex financial modelling and sensitivity analysis to assess the potential impact of any financial operations
  • Maintain the long-term financing plan of the Group
  • Debt Capital Market
  • Preparation, structuration, and execution of debt issuance (short and long term)
  • Precise monitoring of financial markets ‘conditions and new products development
  • Foreign Exchange
  • Implementing Pernod Ricard Foreign Exchange hedging policy
  • In charge of the group intercompany netting
  • Interest rates
  • Interest rate risk management on the debt
  • Equity and commodities
  • Preparation and recommendation, execution of operations involving the Group’s stock such as Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP), Long Term Incentive Program (LTIP), Share Buy Back program (SBB).
  • Execution of commodities hedging and soft commodities in particular

Preferred experience

  • Educational degree: graduated from a business school or engineering school’s master
  • 5 years + experiences in a investment bank (rating advisory desk, DCM desk…) or a front office/ corporate finance/ financing of a corporate treasury
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Proactive, rigorous, good resistance to stress
  • Sense of reactivity, ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills (frequent interaction with the Group CFO)
  • Team player
  • Treasury management system (FIS/Quantum), Reuters, FxAll
