Job description

The team:

We are a collaborative and detail-oriented QA team, focused on delivering high-quality software in the ever-evolving payment solutions domain.

Working fully remote, we combine flexibility with strong communication to ensure consistency across projects and teams.

We work in Scrum, closely aligned with developers and product owners, validating features, identifying issues early, and making sure everything runs smoothly before going live.

Our role goes beyond test execution — we contribute to test strategies, process improvements, and documentation, always with a mindset of quality and user experience.

We believe in knowledge sharing, curiosity, and continuous learning. Every voice matters — from proposing improvements to identifying risks, we make decisions together.

Our team culture is built on trust, ownership, and support: no one is left behind, and every challenge is a shared one.

  • If you’re someone who enjoys digging into the details, thinking critically, and helping build solid, reliable products, you’ll feel right at home here.

The role:

As a QA Engineer at PayXpert, you will ensure the quality and security of our payment solutions through manual testing. You’ll design and execute test cases, identify and track bugs, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to validate new features and prevent regressions. Your work will help maintain the reliability, performance, and compliance of our platform.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and write automated tests for new and key existing features on the different components of the Payment solution

  • Triage bug reports and help isolate them

  • Be the voice of the users, helping the product and engineering teams to improve their experience constantly

  • Planning, prioritization and supervision of test phases on several projects in parallel

  • Work with Technical writer to maintain detailed knowledge of the Peerspace platform, which is constantly evolving

  • Reporting

  • Study of requirements, specifications and technical design documents

  • Creation of detailed, exhaustive and structured test plans and files

  • Estimation, prioritization, planning and coordination of the testing activities of the quality on internal software solutions

  • Validation of software versions

  • Creation and follow-up of anomalies in the internal project management tool by close collaboration with the development team

  • Realization of a permanent technological watch on the topics related to the projects

Preferred experience

  • Job Experience

    • Seniority in software manual testing, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments.

    • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

    • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Cypress).

    • Proven experience with EMV payment systems (e.g., contact/contactless cards, POS terminals).

    • Experience in testing APIs, databases, and web/mobile applications.

    • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and client interaction.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT sector

    Certifications

    • ISTQB Foundation Level certification (required); Advanced Level or other testing certifications are a plus.
