Job description

As Product Manager – eCommerce, you are responsible for defining, building and continuously improving PayXpert’s eCommerce acquiring and payment processing products.

You will own the full product lifecycle — from discovery to design, delivery, go to market and optimisation — ensuring best‑in‑class performance across processing, risk and fraud, card scheme compliance, routing and alternative payment method integrations.
Operating at the intersection of business, technology and user experience, you will lead cross‑functional alignment, drive structured execution and ensure all initiatives are delivered with high quality, scalability and regulatory compliance.
You will also leverage data‑driven insights, performance analytics and merchant feedback to continuously optimise conversion, approval rates and product performance, contributing to the long‑term evolution of PayXpert’s eCommerce offering.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead the strategy, vision and roadmap for the eCommerce product, prioritising initiatives across authorisations, routing, risk, fraud and user experience.

·       Conduct discovery and market analysis, using performance metrics (approval, conversion, fraud KPIs) to guide product decisions.

·       Act as a cross‑functional leader, aligning Engineering, Data, Risk/Fraud, Compliance, Operations, Customer Success and Commercial teams.

·       Drive Agile execution, owning backlog prioritisation, defining clear requirements and ensuring high‑quality delivery with Engineering and QA.

·       Manage the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, coordinating go‑to‑market and continuously improving performance through data insights, merchant feedback and regulatory compliance.

Preferred experience

·       University degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.

·       Minimum 5 years of experience in the payments industry, ideally in eCommerce acquiring.

·       Excellent knowledge of CB (including CB2A protocols), Visa and Mastercard rules, including 3DS, risk and authentication flows.

·       Proven experience working as a Product Manager within agile teams.

·       Solid experience working with cross‑functional teams to deliver payment products at scale.

·       Excellent English and French communication skills, Spanish is a plus.
