The Department:

The Compliance Department at PayXpert is a vital team dedicated to upholding integrity, ethics, and regulatory adherence. The role:

  • Act as part of the Compliance team to review and evaluate compliance of the Company with AML/CFT laws, regulations and regulatory guidance

  • Acts as a partner to the rest of the organisation and a trusted adviser to senior management on relevant AML/CFT and regulatory issues and risks, as a contribution to their strategic and business planning

  • Responsible for managing the AML/CFT affairs of the company

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Keep up to date the AML/CFT policies and protocols on behalf of the organisation

    • Develop and implement an AML/CFT program to ensure the organisation operates following AML/CFT laws and regulations

    • Determine compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking them

    • Remain up to date on AML/CFT laws and regulations related to the organisation and update policies accordingly

    • Maintain up-to-date written documentation and policies related to the organisation’s business activities

    • Develop and implement an AML/CFT transaction monitoring framework for all the organisation’s customers and transactions

    • Oversee the implementation of Customer Periodic Reviews by the KYC team, as well as review the quality of the onboarding conducted by the KYC team

    • Listed as MLRO with the regulator, effectively taking ownership of the AML/CFT framework for the organisation allocated

    • Keep up-to-date compliance policies and protocols on behalf of the organisation

    • Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the organisation operates in accordance with laws and regulations

    • Determine compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking them

    • Sign off on any marketing and advertising collateral to ensure it is in compliance

    • Remain up to date on laws and regulations related to the organization and update policies accordingly

    • Perform compliance reviews to determine whether established protocols are being followed and where they can be improved

    • Maintain up-to-date written documentation and policies related to the organization’s business activities

    • Create a compliance resource library for staff members to reference when they have questions
