Internship, Supply Chain

Product Merchandising Intern, Western Europe

 

This opportunity is open to students looking for an internship contract of 6 months (contrat de stage).

 

Start date - September 2024

Internship of 6 months - Master 1/2 - 1500 EUR

 

The supply chain intern is a part of a Western Europe Merchandising Team, they support the planning for the assigned collection/category and the best estimates of product needs using historical data, sales trends, and the cluster business plan. They assist the product merchandising team in being the assortment analytical counterpart to the global Business Units and Design through all seasonal stages from line planning to buying/producing and sales analysis/post-mortem for a collection/category.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Ensure excellent execution across all touch points of the go to market strategy.
  • Support sell in strategy for the collections assigned.
  • Assess and adopt global assortment and ensure local development needs are incorporated.
  • Participate in meetings to review the categories with internal stakeholders in the merchandising team.
  • Support cluster buying process and define investment of the collections assigned (Sell in forecasts in line with OTB budget).
  • Ensure operational excellence to improve full price sell through of product by closely monitoring sales and creating action plans.
  • Achieve sales target, inventory target and adoption KPI’s.
  • Active collaboration with allocation and demand planning in the cluster.
  • Support local pricing discussion´(retail & wholesale).
  • Coordinate product life cycle and end of season exit strategies.

Preferred experience

Profile description:

 

  • Masters degree in supply chain, business, trade, purchasing or equal.
  • First experience in merchandising, buying, planning, analytics is a plus.
  • Strong command of English language.
