As a Senior Writer on Age of Bhaarat, you will help us tell a rich, emotionally complex story in a dark fantasy world inspired by Indian mythology. You will craft compelling dialogue, narrative documentation, and codex entries with minimal supervision. Working with the Lead Writer and Lead Narrative Designer**, y**ou’ll help ensure that every line of dialogue and piece of text in the game adheres to technical and tonal requirements.
To be considered for this position, please share with us three writing samples (10 pages or less), at least one of which is a game script, demonstrating a clear understanding of dramatic conflict, characterization, and dialogue.
Work with narrative design, level design, and art to drive story execution and promote harmony between story and gameplay.
Write narrative briefs for characters, locations, bosses, factions, and items.
Write compelling, memorable dialogue in a wide variety of character voices.
The game’s story does justice to the richness and complexity of Indian mythology, while retaining its own distinct dark fantasy identity.
Characters are praised for their emotional depth.
Scripts and briefs are delivered on-time and on-budget.
Junior writers get the feedback and support they need to deliver excellent work.

Excellent collaborative and storytelling skills.
Experience writing dialogue to be performed by actors.
Comfortable with prompt revisions based on team feedback.

Ability to write succinctly within formatting constraints.
Native-level proficiency in English.

Broad knowledge of and appreciation for Indian cultures and mythology.
Working fluency in Hindi, Sanskrit, or another Indo-Aryan language.
