Supply Chain Manager (M/F/D)

Responsibilities:

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Contributes to product portfolio rationalization
  • Manages SC performance within his scope (KPI follow-up, policy deployment, master plan): claims, OTIF, PCA, Inventory Coverage and Customer Lead Time, transportation costs
  • Actively contributes to the action plan execution in order to reach performance targets on his perimeter
  • Provides reliable and understandable information within appropriate time
  • Consolidate and challenge the Master Production Schedules (MPS) for critical flows, ensuring feasibility and responsiveness
  • Work in close coordination with plant supply chain teams, Purchasing, and other functions to manage priorities, material availability, and capacity constraints in a synchronized way

STRATEGIC & TRASFORMATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the organization in leading and coordinating transformation projects, including deployment of standardized processes, digital tools, and organizational improvements
  • Drive harmonization and efficiency through the application of best practices and continuous improvement

GLOBAL TEAM PLAYER

  • Support the structuring and development of the Supply chain organization, defining clear responsibilities and governance
  • Coach and guide the supply chain team, promoting capability building and cross-site alignment
  • Foster a culture of performance, ownership, and continuous improvement across all levels of the supply chain function
  • Contribute to the ABU Supply Chain organization on specific projects

CUSTOMER AND MARKET FOCUS

  • Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for service failures, low performance in major flows, or critical customer incidents, ensuring preventive actions are implemented
  • Coordinate the development and follow-up of corrective and improvement actions in order to keep the customer informed
  • Represent the supply chain function in customer meetings, and co-develop common progress plans with key customers to improve service, transparency, and alignment

PEOPLE LEDERSHIP

  • Works for the site’s collective interests
  • Works transversely by integrating the other departments’ constraints (commercial, production   maintenance)
  • Commits within his team and the customers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Management or comparable qualification
  • Certifications such as APICS (CPIM, CSCP), Lean or Six Sigma
  • Proficient in MPS consolidation, inventory optimization and flow design
  • Strong experience in OTIF improvement and working capital management
  • Skilled in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and leading performance recovery plans
  • Proven ability to collaborate with customers, understand their pain points, and develop actionable joint plans
  • Able to coordinate effectively with plants, Purchasing, and cross-functional teams to drive aligned execution
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a multisite or matrix environment. Application of standards
  • Strong in Team working
  • Knowledge of the Quality, Environment, Safety and Anti-Bribery System
  • Fluent in German & English
