Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager – LAND

Role Overview
Nexans is seeking a strategic Sales and Marketing Manager to lead its LAND business, focusing on long-term growth and profitability, particularly for the Charleroi plant. The role combines sales leadership, contract management, business development, marketing strategy, and team coordination across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Tendering: Build a healthy backlog by identifying strategic opportunities, managing tenders, and negotiating offers aligned with technical and financial goals.
- Contract Management: Oversee frame agreements, protect Nexans’ interests, and renegotiate terms to secure margins in volatile markets.
- Business Development: Grow frame and spot business across core and non-core markets, presenting opportunities to top management and driving deal closure.
- Load vs. Capacity: Optimize plant load using S&OP processes, balance manufacturing and installation capacities, and propose long-term improvements.
- Team Leadership: Manage a small sales team, coordinate with country heads, support budgeting, and contribute to GRID management reviews.
- Marketing Strategy: Define and execute GRID marketing plans, analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition, and build differentiated value propositions.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in project-based sales (energy/infrastructure preferred)
- Strong commercial, technical, and contractual skills
- Strategic thinker with marketing and financial acumen
- Effective communicator and team leader in multicultural settings
- Fluent in English; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Willing to travel internationally
