Position:Quality ProcessSystem Intern 

Purpose 

• NexansPWR Transmission intends to improve the efficiency and alignment of itsorganization.
• Processesshouldbe clearly defined and process confirmation should be run by ProcessOwners/teamleaders on a regular basis.

Areas of responsibility 

• In agreement with each concerned Process Owner/Function, document the way ofworking.
• Organizeworkshopsasneeded to improve the process maps and documentation.
• SupportValueStream Mapping.
• Followuponactions and monitor action completion. Escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate closely with the Plant Quality team and the Charleston Factory.
• Support the management of the Document Management System with draft processmaps.

Expected results

• Workprocessesthat are well implemented and understood by the organization
• A documentation/mapping of these work processes allowing daily process confirmationby team leaders/managers
• A Management System that is lean, forstering problem solving and lessons learned

Requested Compentencies and Qualificates 

• Recent college graduate or rising senior
• Solidwriting and oral presentation skills in English. Norwegian and/or French a plus.
• Previouswork experience / internship in a large global company.
• GoodIT skills and knowledge in Microsoft office tools.
• Structured thinking.
• Leadership.
• High say/do ratio.
• Knowledgein Management System management/lean management/quality.management/engineering/project    management.
