WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM
The Deputy Maintenance Manager is part of the Maintenance Department and reports to the Maintenance Manager.
The Deputy Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the operation of production lines in order to ensure optimal production and safety conditions at all times, while staying within the allocated budget.
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
The main responsibilities of the maintenance assistant are as follows:
Maintenance management
* Ensure and organize, in line with the production schedule, all maintenance work (predictive, preventive, corrective) on equipment and infrastructure.
* Manage spare parts and subcontracting in accordance with group rules.
* With the support of the Purchasing department, draft specifications and participate in the negotiation of prices for supplies, services, etc.
* Manage projects under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.
* Manage the GMAO (use, updates, training, etc.).
Team management
* Lead, train, coach, and monitor direct colleagues.
* Have the ability to work in a matrix organization to proactively drive networking, benchmarking, and sharing of best practices with respective colleagues.
* Allocate staff resources efficiently based on individual skills and production needs.
* Communicate effectively with the team and transfer information to staff using the tools at their disposal (communication log, line board information, email, etc.).
Continuous improvement
* Propose measures to be taken with a view to the continuous improvement of the workshop: safety, quality, productivity, working conditions, work organization, human resources management.
* Report any problems encountered in the field and participate in the implementation of corrective actions, involving support departments if necessary.
* Define, implement, and monitor maintenance performance indicators and disseminate them within the department, the plant, and the group.
