Job Description

The Automotive Business Development Lead is responsible for the overall success of our automotive repair network, managing and guiding Parts Sales Consultants within the team. This position requires strong leadership skills to drive business development and improve the performance of automotive workshops in our network. The Team Leader will ensure seamless coordination between acquiring new partners and enhancing existing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

  • Hire, lead, mentor, and support team members.
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations for the team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
  • Accountable for achieving market level goals

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategies for network expansion and performance improvement, aligned with overall company strategy.
  • Analyze market data to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Coordinate with distribution hubs for strategic alignment.
  • Monitor and adjust plans based on performance metrics and feedback.

Finance & Forecasting

  • Work with the Senior Project Manager on operational budgets and forecasts for the market, proactively monitoring performance, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, and implementing strategies to enhance overall profitability.
  • Accountable for management of overdue payments.

Business Development:

  • Oversee the selection and analysis of prospects.
  • Ensure effective communication and follow-up with potential partners.
  • Guide the team in presenting benefits and advantages to prospects.
  • Manage contract negotiations and legal documentation.

Network Performance:

  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new partners by coordinating with Parts Sales Consultants.
  • Monitor the performance of enrolled workshops and implement improvement plans.
  • Conduct experience surveys and use feedback to enhance processes.
  • Promote corporate identity and adherence to standards.

Working pattern:

  • 40 hours / week
  • Location: Field service

Preferred experience

  • Proven experience in a leadership role managing and coordinating a commercial team, within business development or sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks and legal documentation.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a focus on achieving team targets.
