Job description

We are the daughter of an international French enterprise group. A specialist in developing and producing high-quality lubricants and other technical fluids for the automotive, moto and industrial global market, we have been a traditional, independent company for decades and have in-depth know-how and experience in the field of lubricant technology.

 As Technical Sales Specialist you will support the growth of the Benelux business by offering local technical training & support to importers, distributors, b2b customers & b2c end users. Besides this, you will also be involved with the planning and roll-out of the Benelux Sales & Marketing plan.

YOUR TASKS: TECHNICAL SUPPORT IS YOUR PASSION

  • Creating, planning and hosting technical trainings in local language (Dutch & French), together with the local teams
  • Bringing depth in knowledge and Motul product ranges to Motul importers. Focused on ‘Added Value Selling’
  • Coordination of local events & trade shows; MotoGP Assen, WorldSBK Assen, WEC Spa Francorchamps etc.
  • Feeding and managing of Motul products’ online presence;  website (oil advisor tool), both for Motul and partners
  • Motul oil analysis services
  • Facilitate dedicated tech-hotline
  • Liaise with Benelux media outlets to give Motul updates on new products & services
  • Support of local Racing partnerships (Car, Moto etc…)
  • While reporting to a Dutch line-manager you are also required to work closely with the Motul Technical- & Marketing departments in Cologne, Germany.

YOUR PROFILE: QUALIFICATION MEETS PERSONALITY!

 

Qualification

  • Automotive Engineering background (Bachelor diploma and/or work experience) and affinity with Sales & Marketing
  • At least 2 years work experience
  • Experience with digital tools; Microsoft Office, Microsoft TeamsPersonal skills and (key) competences
  • Fluent in Dutch, French (Wallon) & English
  • Strong in communication, verbal and written. Ability to create, compose and approve written content
  • Affinity with motorsport in general
  • Willingness to travel up to +- 60% of the time (mostly within Benelux)
  • Driving license B
  • Responsible in self-management, able to work independent and from home
  • Nice-to-haves - Background in automotive/motorcycle business
  • Nice-to-haves - Applied knowledge of Photoshop & InDesign
