For several years, Lucie has been spending most of her free time with her children. They are still at the age when you have to adapt your day to their needs. That’s why she appreciates the option to work from home and flexible working hours when nobody dwells on when she comes to work or leaves the office. When she has some time for herself, Lucie likes to go running, because she can completely unwind and focus on the surrounding nature. She can also recharge her batteries with her friends, without whom she can’t even imagine her life. And when she wants to relax just by herself, she reads detective novels.
Lucie has been working at Mondelēz for 15 years. She has experience from all departments within the supply chain, and now she manages the entire chain in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. She is daily in touch with her foreign colleagues via e-mails and teleconference calls. She likes observing how each culture has its own style of communication and approach to unexpected situations. Someone tries to follow the set procedure whatever it takes, and others look for ways how to get around obstacles and reach their goal as easily as possible. It is this diversity that brings great solutions.
Even though Mondelēz is a large international company, they can still make a lot of decisions locally. The teams in Prague, Bratislava, and Budapest can look for solutions to various challenges they daily face in their work. They closely cooperate with 30 factories across Europe and work on the production plans. Along with the logistics suppliers, they try to find options for the most efficient storage and transport. They are free to make decisions, and that’s what she likes about working at Mondelēz.
