Who are we?

moka.care is a mental health solution for companies, with one mission in mind: nurturing healthy minds to foster healthy organizations.

We guide employees through individual and group therapy or coaching sessions.

Alongside we help HR teams to take care of their employees’ mental health on a daily basis.

Where we are currently: Since our creation in December 2019, more than 320 companies (L'Oreal, Spendesk, Qonto, Engie, Castalie, etc.) have joined moka.care, and we now have over 250,000 employees covered in France but also throughout the world!

We have raised 17,5 million euros and are 60 to help companies improve their mental well-being.

Why do we need you?

You will work directly with the Tech and Product team, and your main mission will be to design, build and maintain the moka.care product code base.

Daily you will:

- Write clean and efficient code in a full-stack fashion, covering the entire stack from frontend to backend to infrastructure, while following the Shape Up methodology: 6-week Shape, 2-week Cooldown, and Friday afternoons dedicated to tech topics.

- Take part in the on-call rotation: 1 week per team member, during office hours only

- Improve and optimise our current product and infrastructure

- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions

You’re the ideal person if:

  • You have 8+ years experience with an object-oriented language such as Ruby
  • You are experienced with Ruby on Rails or another web framework (e.g. Spring, Symfony, Laravel, Django), as well as with JavaScript and relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
  • You have experience with infrastructure management and/or AI pipelines
  • You test your code (e.g. using RSpec)
  • You write well-designed and readable code
  • You communicate effectively in both written and spoken English

  • We deploy continuously (you open a PR, it’s reviewed then deployed) around ~15 times a day. Our average review time is under one day, and we keep PRs small (under 75 lines of code).
  • We collaborate very closely with the Product team and often refer to ourselves internally as the ProTech team.
  • Internal Tools : Slack for communication, Notion as our knowledge base, Google Drive for shared documents, 1password for secure password management, Github & Heroku for code and deployment.
