Job description

Missions 🎯

You will be a core builder for the Mojo Android application. You will be responsible for turning feature concepts into delightful Android experiences.

🤖 As a Senior Android Engineer, you will:

  • be part of a squad every quarter and contribute to the decision-making process as the Android expert
  • own the development of new features going from the technical specifications and discussion with the product designer to the monitoring of their success
  • leave the code in a better state than when you found it
  • help the Android team continuously improve its processes (release, support …)
  • contribute to defining the technical vision for the future of the Mojo Android application
  • look ahead to the new Android capabilities, experiment with them, and share how we could apply them to the Mojo application

Preferred experience

Skills ✨

Here are the skills it takes to be a good fit:

  • Fluent in English 🇬🇧
  • 3 years+ experience with Android
  • Experience working in an Android team of 3+ engineers
  • Experience working on and scaling a product in the long run
  • You are comfortable working with Kotlin
  • You are comfortable working remotely with an asynchronous configuration (Git, Pull Requests, Code reviews..)

Nice to have ✨

We don’t expect you to have those skills, but if you have, feel free to tell us more about them!

  • Knowledge of OpenGL, shader, media encoding or MediaCodec

Recruitment process

Hiring process ⚙️

  • Pre-screening call with Recruiter - 30 min. - remote
  • Screening call with Manager - 60 min. - remote
  • Technical test - home assignment (72h timeframe, start it whenever it is the more convenient for you)
  • Final interview with the founders - 2 hours - remote or in-person at our Paris office
  • Closing call & pre-offer - 30 min. - remote
