We are seeking a dynamic and curious apprentice/intern to join our Marketing team as a Marketing Data Analyst.
The Marketing Team mission is to support our commercial strategy with data-driven insights, strengthen Metroscope’s visibility, and generate qualified leads
As a Marketing Data Analyst apprentice/intern, you will contribute by helping us better understand our customers software usage and problems, market dynamic, and competition.
You will gain experience in marketing analytics and data-driven problem-solving within a SaaS environment for industries.
You will work closely with our marketing managers to provide analysis, build dashboards, and generate insights that support decision-making.
Your missions
Your daily activities will be divided into ~ 70% analytics & dashboards and 30% applied marketing problem-solving.
Your tasks will include:
Marketing Analytics & Dashboards
SQL / Grafana: Create and maintain dashboards to monitor customer usage of our software.
Data Analysis (Python): Explore datasets, run ad-hoc analyses, and provide actionable insights to the team.
Market & Customer Insights
Customer Analysis: Study how customers interact with our software to identify usage trends, adoption drivers, and opportunities for improvement.
Market Analysis: Support the team with data-driven studies of industrial sectors and competitors.
Knowledge Sharing & Communication

Technical Problem-Solving: You are familiar and enjoy working with SQLand Python to explore problems and generate insights through dashboards and reports.
Business Sense and interest: You want to understand how marketing contributes to SaaS growth and how customer usage data translates into strategy.
What We’re Looking For
We seek candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
SQL & Data Visualization: Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with dashboards (Grafana, or similar)
Programming: Experience with Python for data analysis (contributed to shared code).
Analytical Mindset: Ability to structure problems, analyze datasets, and extract insights.
Communication Skills: Comfortable presenting findings to a non-technical audience.
Continuous Learning: Curiosity, adaptability, and a hands-on attitude with IT tools.
You’re in your first or second year of master degree.
You speak French and English fluently, both written and spoken.
Recruitment process
Screening interview with a member of the Marketing Team
Technical assessment (case study / SQL/Python exercise)
Stakeholder + HR interview
All interviews don’t have to take place at the office (Paris Saint-Lazare), but we expect you to come there at least once during the process.
To smoothen and speed up the process, we might group stages.
Workplace
📌 This position is based in our Paris office, boulevard Haussmann, 3 minutes from the Saint-Lazare train station.
👩💻 You will be able to telecommute up to 2 days per week (days determined at your convenience).
