Type of contract : permanent

The Supply Planning Manager will be responsible for a team of supply planners responsible for balancing demand and supply, through the creation of the consensus supply plan.

They will be responsible for defining and managing the appropriate replenishment strategy and FG inventory policy for their portfolio and ensuring adherence to plan.

Key to the role is to lead, guide and support the team to ensure a balanced plan to minimize demand at risk, whilst considering product freshness, inventory and cost goals. The aim is to determine the insights that are taken into the S&OP+ process utilizing scenarios and scorecard analysis.

This role is also to provide leadership, development and building engagement for the Network Planning Team. Key to success is strong relationships with other functions and joint action plans to achieve targets.

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of supply chain management and planning experience for a global or multi-plant CPG/FMCG company

  • Strong experience as people leader in complex environment and experience of change management

  • Ability to collaborate with different teams

  • Strong communication skills with excellent knowledge of English and French

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead, manage and supervise a team of supply planners incl. administration and continuously improving results. Drive capability standards and capability improvement within the team

  • Lead and coach the team on root causing issues with all relevant stakeholders

  • Provide supply vs demand strategy (4-36 months horizon), network capacity strategy, including Warehouse and Transportation, FG Inventory management strategy and Service level strategy to all teams with clear responsibilities, KPIs, targets and road maps of how to achieve the goals. Provide leadership for delivering results

  • Own definition and updates of service level targets per market and product group

  • Own definition and updates of FG inventory targets and inventory policy

  • Act as a level of escalation within the EU Planning Hub in areas of Inventory management, parameters settings, supply vs demand strategy and network capacity, target settings

  • Own replenishment strategy and network parameters in line with the inventory policy. Responsible for regular parameters audits

  • Ensure their team creates the consensus supply plan balancing inventory and capacity with the objective to meet demand on-time and in full

  • Partnering with IE, Commercial and other stakeholders for given technology in order to assure medium- and long-term capacity that will cover the future growth

  • Ensure the supply plan is aligned with the capacity available and escalate the issues to the SCMR if required

  • Provide relevant overview for the (local) S&OP+ meetings regarding supply vs demand (capacity) sufficiency and FG inventory performance

  • Participate in the SCMR as needed and provide outlook, gap analysis and alterative options for the different supply constraints

  • Oversee allocations in case of supply constraint (affecting more than one market) in collaboration with the team for mid-term capacity issues

  • Own supply and inventory performance metrics, inventory outlook projection, lead team in gap analysis and improvement action plans. Lead the team in supply network improvements in cash, cost and customer service results

  • Lead the team in FG inventory health analysis, root causing and drive decisions about Non-Performing Inventory within the network

  • Oversee inputs for activity management / seasonal activities / new product launches from network planning point of view

  • Role model Continuous Improvement (CI)I via daily/weekly/monthly work processes. Provide leadership to reduce/eliminate touches within their organization. Relentlessly drive operational excellence within the standard work processes

  • Continuously improve the way the team is working and ensure the software available is used to its full extent and providing feedback to the process and solution owners

  • Collaborate on root cause issues with relevant stakeholders, lead the team in building collaborative relationships between various functions to achieve company targets
