Job description

LUMA Arles is looking for a Head of Press Relations who will perform his duties within the Marketing and Communication Department and will report on his activities to the Head of the Marketing and Communication Department.

Missions relating to the press:

  1. Coordination with press agencies and service providers
  2. Drafting of press documents (press kits, press releases, press reviews, photo credit cards, etc.)
  3. Welcoming guests / journalists, presentation of the project and accompanying exhibition visits
  4. Public and external relations with the various local and international actors
  5. Working and developing the existing network of journalists and media outlets
  6. Writing and / or coordination of content and supports relating to the communication of the various events and activities
  7. Building and contributing to the editorial program and activities on our media channels
  8. Daily monitoring of media coverage and promote it internally / externally
  9. Monitoring and analysis of the impact of media actions

Communication / Events missions:

  1. Organization of activities and events carried out by Luma as well as in other affiliated companies
  2. Creation and monitoring of the printing of signage and communication media for exhibitions and events (booklets, posters, press inserts, cartels, etc.)
  3. Management of the relationship with service providers: agencies, printers, free lancers, etc.

Preferred experience

Required profile

  • English level C2 imperative
  • Minimum Master 2 in corporate communication, public relations or business school
  • 5 to 10 years of successful and demonstrated experience in a similar function in interaction with journalists in particular
  • Very good knowledge of the cultural environment, contemporary art and the hospitality sector
  • Good command of standard communication tools (Adobe Suite, MailChimp, Hootsuite, CMS, etc.)

Required qualities

  • Excellent oral expression and writing skills - in both French and English
  • In-depth knowledge of different writing techniques, syntactic and spelling aspects and typographical codes of French and English languages
  • Perfect mastery of communication issues in a demanding context
  • Excellent organizational skills (simultaneous management of several projects within tight deadlines), stress management
  • Ability to work in a team and transversally with several teams from different companies
  • Very good execution skills, good understanding and reformulation of needs
  • Extreme diplomacy, dynamism, energy and enthusiasm
  • Rigor, curiosity, strong listening skills
