Lucca provides HRIS SaaS solutions to boost employee efficiency and engagement.

We address the main areas of administrative and HR management: time and activities, annual reviews, employee pulse surveys, expense reports, etc.

Our products are being used by more than a million people in various businesses, including the upscale Accor hotel chain and the surf brand Rip Curl, as well as in rapidly expanding international companies like Novo Nordisk, Nexthink, and Michel&Augustin.

In 2023, the Localization team was created to meet our global expansion requirements.

Our product software interface is currently available in 𝟳 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀(French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese) and our Sales and Customer Success teams support our clients in 4 languages.

We aim to 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 to our end-users and improve the availability and quality of 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 and 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 translations to provide the best possible experience for our growing client base across countries. Localizing our software in new languages is a priority as more clients operate globally.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺?

You will work in the Localization team, which is part of the Internationalization team.

The Localization Team is composed of Emilie and Ludivine who are handling business content requests, Clara who is in charge of product localization, Natalia our L10N engineer and Frédéric, our Head of Localization.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴?

With the aim of progressively improving language availability and quality at Lucca, you will be in charge of the new languages implementation project. You will shape our global voice, from setting up our TMS to integrating AI into our UI localization workflows and ensure our product feels local to every user, everywhere.

𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀
• Setting up the TMS and defining specifications for Product teams with our L10N Engineer
• Project management
• Query management
• Managing linguistic assets: style guides, translation memories, term-base
• Vendor management (LSPs and freelancers)

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀
• Implementing AI driven translation and review workflows
• Collaborating with the Business Content team (sharing linguistic assets)
• Encourage Product teams to adopt localization best practices
• Document processes


Preferred experience

𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀
❏ Master's Degree in localization.
❏ Knowledge of languages and cultural nuances.
❏ Linguistic skills: Professional fluency in both English and French. Knowledge of any other language such as Polish, Portuguese, German, Spanish, Dutch or Italian would be a plus.
❏ In depth experience of UI localization best practices.
❏ In depth experience of a major TMS (Lokalise, XTM-Cloud, Phrase, Smartling, GlobalLink, Memo-Q…) including customization of workflows, automations as well as TM and TB management.
❏ Familiar with different UI ressource and localization file formats such as Json, Resx, Properties, XLIFF...
❏ Experience of AI and Machine translation engines (Neuronal, LLM and RAG, Language Quality Scoring).
❏ Experience of All-in-One Digital collaborative Workspace such as Notion, Click-Up, Coda…
❏ knowledge of collaborative software platforms such as GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket ****would be a plus
