A bit of context

Lucca has been developing SaaS solutions to increase employee efficiency and engagement. We address the main administrative and HR management issues: time and activities, expense reports, personnel administration, annual reviews, and measuring well-being at work. Our solutions are used today by over one million users in all types of companies (from the chic hotel chain Accor to the surf brand Rip Curl) and particularly in those with strong growth developing internationally (Novo Nordisk, Nexthink, etc.). While we operate in the very serious field of management tools, our work is guided by the belief that a management software doesn't have to be gray, ugly, or boring. That is why we attach great importance to the design of our interfaces and the user experience.

In 2022 Lucca celebrated its 20th anniversary and embarked on its internationalization journey by establishing its first two subsidiaries outside of France, in Barcelona and Geneva. We now want to develop Lucca’s potential and footprint in the DACH market, by growing our client base not only in Switzerland, but also in Germany.

Your role

Our solutions are already used in a number of international companies in Germany, and time has come to improve our PMF (Product Market Fit) to grow in the market. Our teams carried out an initial in-depth study to understand the German market and identify how our solutions could help German HR teams.

Your main mission will be to capitalize on this initial knowledge, test and iterate our approach to find the best ways to increase our customer base in Germany.

More details about your main missions as Country Opener:

1. Sales development

- Develop your network through prospect and customer calls or meetings, to better define our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and adapt our sales approach.

- Manage the entire sales cycle to convert German prospects into customers.

- Recommend local sales offer adaptation when needed and contribute to its implementation.

- Contribute to the creation or improvement of marketing and sales assets dedicated to the DACH market.

- Recommend and help organize local initiatives to boost pipeline creation and sales (trade shows, etc.).

2. Building the local team

- Recruit, onboard and train the first sales representatives dedicated to the local market.

- Manage the local sales team.

- Contribute to recruitment and onboarding of other local roles (marketing, customer success, etc.).

- Act as the main point of contact for HR and Finance to help manage the local office.

3. Testing, iterating, learning and reporting

- Work closely with our “DACH PMM” team member and Marketing to maximize the chances of improving our PMF (Product Market Fit).

- Establish hypotheses and test them to learn and improve your market approach and strategy.

- Share analysis, feedback from the field and associated recommendations to the relevant internal Lucca teams and stakeholders to accelerate our learning curve.

Ideal profile

❏ You have a Master's degree.

❏ You are native German & fluent in English. French is a big plus (B1-B2 minimum).

❏ You had 8-10 years of experience in the SaaS sector or HRIS industry in Germany and a successful experience in a Sales role.

❏ You have an entrepreneurial mindset: ideally you have already worked on the opening of the German market for a foreign company.

❏ You like to take on big challenges: you are curious, with a real desire to learn and results-oriented working methods.

❏ You have a strong operational spirit: you like action, getting your hands into the field.

❏ You have very good communication skills both in writing and orally, to communicate internally and represent the company in the country.

❏ You are an adaptable team-player, interested in collaborating with different cultures internally.
