Research, Development & Innovation Department
Innovation is at the heart of our mission to reveal the infinite potential of micro-organisms and fermentation to offer sustainable, natural and unlimited solutions and enrich the knowledge of their effects. Our teams bring together 600 experts worldwide, including 150 scientists within the Lesaffre Campus, and 63 applied science centers. The Group's RD&I Corporate is organized into 7 Excellence Centers that develop new innovative solutions, enrich knowledge in the field of micro-organism (bacteria, yeast ...), participate in the digitization of RD&I and develop industrial biotechnologies. These projects are also implemented through 70 research partnerships. As a supporter of open research, more than a third of research projects are conducted with promising partners, universities, and start-ups.
"If you're interested in being part of a multicultural and stimulating environment focused on innovation, don't hesitate, join us."
Digital / Data
A new direction at the service of Lesaffre's digital transformation!
This department aims to make Digital & Data a global transformation lever, promoting the Group's profitable, sustainable, and responsible growth. By using digital technologies, AI and data management, this department supports innovation and digital services at the service of customers, strengthening the Group's user experience and operational excellence.
Recruiting new talent is essential to meet this ambition!
Our organization: a core team of experts and a global D&D community of nearly 150 people.
"The adventure is absolutely fascinating, we will contribute to building the Lesaffre of tomorrow by generating even more value for growth and of course, sustainable growth."
Production
The jobs in production are the foundation of our activity. Production managers, technical managers, line operators, machinists, shuttle drivers, cleaners, forklift drivers... are just some of the jobs you'll find in our factories, whose raison d'être is the processing of yeast and micro-organisms.
Our role is to ensure the proper functioning of the machines, monitor production, control quality, take samples, etc.
Our expertise is based in particular on a global network of production factories, cutting-edge technology, adaptability in our processes and synergy between our sites.
"After six years in Eastern Europe, I wanted to explore new opportunities and immerse myself in different cultures, and Lesaffre supported me in that journey."
Supply Chain
As key players in customer relations, our daily mission is to optimize the end-to-end chain, from supply to delivery, through inventory management and transport, while ensuring sustainable practices for our employees and our environment. From the various factories to the Corporate, you can join a solid network present on all our sites, as a sales forecaster, project manager, transport manager or sales administrator... Our community of experts offers rewarding career paths and the opportunity to translate our Group's ambition into concrete and impactful actions.
"It's incredibly rewarding to engage with these various departments, understand their constraints, and make the right decisions at the right time, it's a team effort."
Industry
Two thirds of our employees work in our 77 industrial facilities and produce daily thousands of tons of yeast distributed worldwide. In less than two weeks, they can transform a micro-organism of a few micrograms into several hundred tons of yeast.
Committed to Factory 4.0, our goal is to run clean, connected factories, ensure the long-term sustainability of our raw materials, and provide our customers with transparent product traceability. If you aspire to be part of a multicultural team and participate in the transformation of our factories, you can become the next critical link in our collective success.
"What I value most about Lesaffre, is the extensive cross-functional collaboration, the autonomy, the diversity of assigned missions, and the opportunity to thrive in a broad ecosystem."
