Job Description
As part of the development of our cosmetic activity, we are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager in Cosmetics.
Reporting to the Cosmetic Business Development Director, your mission will be to define, plan, and execute strategic projects. Working in collaboration with various departments, you will contribute to the development and expansion of Lesaffre in the international B2B cosmetic ingredients market.
The position is based in Marcq-en-Barœul, France.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure regulatory monitoring and compliance
- Continuously monitor cosmetic regulations, particularly regarding ingredients, in key target markets;
- Identify regulatory developments and their potential impact on the business;
- Ensure regulatory compliance for cosmetic ingredients in the market.
- Support the development of ingredients
- Work closely with R&D teams to ensure regulatory compliance for new cosmetic ingredients commercialized by Lesaffre;
- Establish INCI names for ingredients and justify their use if necessary;
- Manage regulatory files for the registration of new ingredients in countries where required.
- Validate marketing tools
- Perform regulatory validation of technical datasheets and promotional documents related to cosmetic ingredients;
- Advise marketing teams on regulatory aspects of ingredients;
- Ensure compliance with communication regarding the properties and benefits of ingredients.
- Guarantee quality and document traceability
- Provide regulatory requirements concerning production processes, contaminants, and ingredient specifications;
- In close collaboration with the quality team, create and update certificates and dossiers across different countries;
- Ensure traceability and availability of regulatory information.
- Provide support for commercial activities
- Provide and track regulatory and quality information requested by our business partners.
- Representation and external relations
- Represent Lesaffre within professional cosmetic associations, particularly on regulatory aspects of ingredients;
- Participate in working groups and regulatory consultations related to ingredients;
- Maintain relationships with the competent authorities.
