Job description

Lenstra was founded by passionate computer science engineers with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. By combining technical excellence with a strong vision, we support top-tier clients across industries such as Banking & Insurance, Luxury, and Technology.

Our expertise is structured around four core pillars: Software Development, DevSecOps, Data & AI, and Product. Through a holistic understanding of our clients’ environments, we help them address their most complex challenges—from building robust software and secure cloud platforms to designing data-driven solutions that accelerate business impact.

As a Data Platform Product Owner, you will own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of large-scale data platforms that sit at the core of our clients’ IT ecosystems. You’ll work hands-on with engineers, data scientists, and architects to design and evolve platforms that enable analytics, ML, and data-driven decision-making at scale.

Your scope will span complex, high-impact initiatives: from enabling a data and ML platform used by 100+ data scientists, to building enterprise-grade data foundations that power hundreds of users across an organisation. You will translate business needs into clear technical priorities, balance platform scalability, reliability, and usability, and make informed trade-offs grounded in a strong understanding of data architectures and code.

This role requires comfort operating in complexity—aligning user needs with long-term platform strategy, engaging with senior stakeholders, and diving deep into technical details when needed. You’ll be measured not by slides produced, but by platforms delivered, adopted, and trusted.

  • Agile mindset, adaptable to changing project requirements and business needs.

  • Visionary thinking, capable of identifying future trends and integrating them into current projects.

  • Leadership qualities, able to guide and inspire teams towards achieving project milestones.
