The position

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Labour & Employee Relations Advisor to join our HR & Legal Division.  

This role is essential in ensuring compliance with labor regulations, managing employee relations, and mitigating legal risks.

Acting as a trusted advisor to management and HR teams, you will provide legal expertise, oversee litigation, and contribute to initiatives that foster a fair and responsible workplace. 

 

Responsabilities :

Legal advice and support: 

  • Ensure legal monitoring in labor law and inform management and various departments of legislative and regulatory developments. 

  • Advise management and managers on legal issues related to labor law, such as employment contracts, collective relations, dismissals, and labor disputes. 

  • Support HR managers in managing individual and collective labor relations. 

Litigation management: 

  • Handle and monitor litigation cases before labor courts (industrial tribunal, court of appeal). 

  • Prepare case files in collaboration with lawyers, draft pleadings and briefs, and attend hearings. 

Negotiation and drafting of legal documents: 

  • Draft and/or validate employment contracts, amendments, company agreements, internal regulations, and other legal documents. 

  • Participate in negotiations with social partners and draft collective agreements. 

Training and awareness: 

  • Organize and lead training and awareness sessions for managers and employees on labor law topics (harassment, discrimination, workplace safety, etc.). 

  • Develop educational and communication materials on legal aspects of labor law. 

Management of social relations: 

  • Participate in meetings with employee representatives (Works Council, union delegates). 

  • Advise on the organization of professional elections and on managing relations with employee representative bodies. 

HR management support: 

  • Work closely with the HR department to ensure compliance of personnel management practices with current legislation. 

  • Provide legal support during recruitment, dismissal, internal mobility, and career management procedures. 

 

 

 Profile & Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in Labor Law, Employment Law, or related field. 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in labor law advisory or employee relations. 

  • Strong knowledge of French labor law and social regulations. 

  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills for legal documents. 

  • Ability to manage litigation and work with external counsel. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with managers, HR teams, and employee representatives. 

  • Fluent in French & in English  

  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, collaborative approach
