  • System Integration: Work closely with overall team to integrate the new payroll system with our HRIS platform, HiBob.
  • Data & Configuration: Manage data migration, payroll setup, and configuration testing to ensure accuracy and compliance with Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation.
  • Compliance Verification: Ensure all payroll compliance requirements (e.g., ATO requirements, STP, superannuation, leave accruals, payroll tax, WorkCover, FBT where applicable) are correctly configured within new vendor’s system.
  • Process Documentation: Document all new payroll and system processes, controls, and workflows.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and collaborate with the current and the new provider, internal local and global teams.

  • ANZ Payroll Expertise: Deep, current technical knowledge of Australian and/or New Zealand payroll legislation, tax, and regulatory requirements (e.g., STP compliance, superannuation).
  • System Proficiency: Prior experience with HiBob is beneficial. Experience with Cloudpay, Papaya Global or other cloud-based global payroll solutions is highly regarded.
  • Mindset: A highly proactive, detail-oriented, and autonomous self-starter comfortable managing a critical project timeline.
