✨ YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior AI PM part of the Data Science team, you will work closely with your peers as well as with members of the product, business, and engineering teams. In an environment where technology and digital haven’t played all their cards yet, your work will directly contribute to shaping platforms that benefit patients, clinicians, and biologists; and has the potential to change healthcare fundamentally. Your role and responsibilities will be to:

• Manage high-value or complex AI projects involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring the planning, coordination, and monitoring of their progress while respecting deadlines, budgets, and objectives

• Define Work Packages for each AI project, ensuring a clear breakdown of tasks and responsibilities, while integrating technical requirements specific to AI (modeling, data preprocessing, evaluation, etc.)

• Anticipate technical risks related to AI, such as data quality, computation time, result reproducibility, and implement strategies to manage them

• Structure and adapt project management methodologies for the iterative cycles specific to AI, considering testing, evaluating, and retraining phases for models

• Translate technical AI challenges into business-relevant terms for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of business priorities and technical constraints

• Understand the hardware requirements for AI projects, such as the choice of hardware for different types of Large Language Models (LLMs), and ensure the right infrastructure is in place for optimal model performance

• If necessary, coordinate training for existing PMs or Data Scientists to accelerate skill development in AI project management

Some of the main characteristics we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in a scientific field (Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, etc.) with at least 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist and 4 years of experience as an AI Project Manager

• In-depth knowledge of Machine Learning, neural networks, and computational statistics

• Ability to tackle complex challenges critically and creatively, with a strong learning mindset

• Advanced AI risk management skills, including the ability to anticipate challenges related to data quality, result reproducibility, and AI model scalability

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ensure smooth collaboration across teams

• Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders

• Nice-to-have: experience in a healthcare /MedTech field
